The regulation that requires it in Nevada
Nevada runs an approved state plan under Nevada OSHA (Division of Industrial Relations). No Nevada-specific statute for a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan appears in the ontology. Therefore, the default citation applies: CA Labor Code §6401.9 (SB 553).
Enforcing agency
Nevada OSHA (Division of Industrial Relations) enforces the plan. They inspect Nevada workplaces for safety and health hazards. They issue citations and penalties under their own rules and coordinate with federal OSHA through the state plan agreement.
