Doc Insurance
$50 a year. Your documents stay current automatically.
OSHA rewrites rules. Your company changes. Doc Insurance keeps every document you’ve bought aligned with both — without per-edit fees.
One subscription covers every document on your account — not per-doc.
What’s covered
1. Regulatory updates
When Cal/OSHA or your state changes a rule that affects one of your documents, we regenerate the affected docs against the new requirement and redeliver the updated PDFs to your account automatically. You get a notification when each new version lands.
2. Company-info edits
Company name, address, EIN, signatory, key personnel, jobsite changes — unlimited for the year. Talk to Guy, he updates every affected document, you download the new PDFs.
What happens without it
- Days 1–10 after delivery: unlimited free edits on that specific document. Tell Guy what to change, he regenerates the PDF.
- Day 11 and beyond: each edit requires Doc Insurance or a per-edit fee. The 10-day clock starts over per-document, not per-account — once it’s up on a doc, it’s up.
- When OSHA changes a rule: you’ll get a notification that your doc is now out of date, but the regeneration is on you (or you can add insurance and we cover it).
Who needs it
Any contractor who expects to still be in business a year from now. Phone numbers change, employees come and go, you pick up a new trade, Cal/OSHA pushes an update — $50 is cheaper than one per-edit fee, and it’s a lot cheaper than getting cited for an out-of-date IIPP.
Adding Doc Insurance
Doc Insurance is offered as an add-on at checkout. Pick the documents you need, and check the box for Doc Insurance before paying. Already a customer? You can add it from your Billing page.
